Why Henry Cavill Basically Already Is James Bond

Why Henry Cavill Basically Already Is James Bond

Henry Cavill stands in a Miami hotel room looking like a comic book drawing made real. He’s 6-foot-2 but seems taller because he’s so broad. His muscles stretch an ordinary knit shirt into a bulky superhero outfit. Yet as we sit down for the first of our two interviews, Cavill’s brawn is quickly contrasted by his genteel demeanor that his colleagues say is typical of the 38-year-old Englishman. Finally, here’s the director Zack Snyder’s long-awaited, top-secret Clark Kent: swarthy and muscular, […]

But Henry Cavill is finally flying high as he revs up for the lead in this summer’s Superman reboot, Man Of Steel. The first time he met Russell Crowe, Henry Cavill was 16, shivering and in shorts. A pupil of Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, he was one of several students who had been asked to be extras, playing rugby in the background while Crowe said goodbye to his on-screen son. The film was Proof Of Life, and […]

Admittedly, it’s been a while since I’ve seen Immortals. But I did not like it at all, which is why I haven’t seen it again now that it’s opened.
