I shouldn’t be surprised that I loved Up, because Pixar is very good at what they do. But I don’t generally love animated movies so I didn’t expect much.

I didn’t expect really adorable characters that were surprisingly easy to relate to and care about. And I don’t

In some ways, Zach Efron completely makes this movie. And not just because he’s a lot more interesting to watch than Matthew Perry.

The premise is something we’ve seen plenty of before but it manages to be fresh and enjoyable in this

You may have noticed that Romantic Comedy is not my particular genre, so I don’t know that I’m the best person to review this. Still, I’ve seen it; I have thoughts. Perhaps that’s enough.

The interesting thing about Terminator Salvation is that it really wasn’t John Connor’s movie. Christian Bale was a great John Connor. He was strong and focused and interesting. There was

I saw Star Trek this weekend. Loved it. I actually haven’t liked a movie that much in a long time. I just walked out of it feeling happy and whole and refreshed. Probably didn’t hurt that I

Plus, I don’t ascribe to the belief that just because a movie is a classic it’s therefore good. Someone once said that the golden age in Hollywood wasn’t really golden, it’s just when we learned to industrialize movie making. I agree, so, I don’t expect that all classic movies will stand the […]

Push actually envisions how psychic powers would play out in the real world rather than the heightened reality we’re accustomed to with these sorts of stories. Gritty and realistic, it

Avatar is visually stunning. You just can’t escape it. I saw it in IMAX 3D. Now, I can’t compare it to regular 3D but what I saw was revolutionary.

The depth of field was incredible. It wasn’t just what I imagine 3D would be, where

This will probably be the least eloquent review of mine. Because I sort of don’t know what to say. It’s darker than what you expect, whatever you expect. I mean, yeah, if you’ve seen Memento

Wanted is seriously badass. If nothing else, you kind of have to love that about it.

The movie follows Wesely Gibson (James McAvoy) essentially through a journey of discovering who
